Accrual tiers

6 years until you reach 160 hours (20 days a year) at 11 years.
Entitlement is based on completed years of service as of January 1.
You must be in active pay status (all hours paid) for 80 hours in a month to accrue that month (FMLA, Military, and Occupational Injury leave count toward the 80 hours).
Vacation pay is based on the classification you occupy during the vacation period.
The first 80 hours of vacation designated as DAT (Day-at-a-Time) each year is handled separately under Art 23(J).
